It really boils down on the camera you intend on using, if it is a compact or mirrorless and you don't intend on using a big telephoto lens. Go for the A1000, you won't need the dual handles unless you want to mount extra microphones, monitors etc. If you plan on using a bigger DSLR and will be using it as a rig, go for the A2000
