Feiyu tech has introduced two 3-axis gimbals for smartphone movie makers this year, but the difference between the two isn't exactly obvious. This post here clarifies things for you and hopefully helps you decide which one right for you.
These gimbals are similar, both packed full of features, here's a list of the features they share.
There is one very important difference is the hand adjustable dial. The SPG Live uses the traditional counterweight system featured in the earlier G4 Plus. The new SPG features a hand adjustable dial to fine tune the balance. What it means is it can take large phones, phones that have an off-center balance or for use with attachments that can throw off the balance like a lens attachment or flash.
On top of this, you can use the gimbal with the new GoPro Hero5 Black with the foam attachments included.
If you intend on using the gimbal with a standard sized smartphones without ever adding attachments, go for an SPG Live. If you have a GoPro, intend on using attachments like LED lighting or lenses, go for the adjustable SPG.
